About My Verisure

3. The available functionalities may vary according to the Alarm model. - In order to use this application, you must be a Verisure customer and have a username and password.

My Verisure Customer Insights

1. The most annoying part is when "unexpected errors" happen, the app logs you out, you have to relogin, and of course this often happens at the worst possible time, when you just want the dang thing to work and unlock the freakin alarm, not stand like an idiot at 5 in the morning in front of the closed office door, wrestling with a poorly designed, poorly coded app that regularly looses your credentials and gets random cosmic ray bugs.App works well most of the time but why have widgets which are not functional? It would also be useful to have a SOS or Emergency option similar to the control panel.It worked fine for 20 days ish.

2. Nearly a year later and stupid french adverts are not fixed yet.The planner doesnt work half the time and today it activated 2 hours after scheduled making the alarm go off when the cleaner left the house, terrible appWhatever update you've made has broken the app.

3. Asked a service tech what was going on and was told the company has a new system and the app doesn't work with it and they are working on a new one.

4. I uninstalled and reinstalled it but it still won't work.The alarm system is excellent but the app is shocking.

5. The lack of a biometric login option is also slightly tedious as you have to manually input your password every time if you don't want to leave the app 'unlocked'.

6. Now it's not possible to activate/deactivate the alarm, as the app gives an error "something went wrong, we're unable to carry out your request.

7. I couldn't deactivate the alarm last night and it's still stuck on alarm armed without the alarm actually being armed.

8. App isn't working either to retreive status or to activate or deactivate the system for past couple of weeks.

9. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesn't work in any of our devices.

10. Sometimes all of your devices go missing from your app! Support said uninstall and reinstall, which is not a fix, it's just wasting your time.

11. Please try again later".. we had an engineer this morning that "supposedly" had fixed the issue, but here we are...The app is good and pars well with Arlo app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix My Verisure Issues

1. Fix My Verisure Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart My Verisure: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the My Verisure App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "My Verisure" » Open My Verisure » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for My Verisure » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear My Verisure app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from My Verisure servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "My Verisure" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check My Verisure app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, My Verisure might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall My Verisure. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall My Verisure then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing My Verisure not working


2. Fix My Verisure Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make My Verisure be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to My Verisure not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, My Verisure may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
