1. Thanks for the follow-up! ORIGINAL: The interface for logging in or entering payment information uses white text on a light gray background, so it is almost impossible to see what you are typing.

2. I'm sorry my church picked this app.White text issue fixed, but have tried multiple times to make a payment, they never go through.

3. It does not in an appropriate time frame list pending transactions, so even if I wait a day or two, I'm uncertain if the transaction went through.

4. The date selector is white text on a white background, so you can't see dates at all!Simple, which is good, I guess.

5. First impression is that the app seems TOO simple in places.This app once worked great, but it seems the only thing it can do is delete things.

6. Useless support, 800 number advised me to contact the church?!? Nevermind I'll just use my bank's app, it actually works.

7. I tried to set up for the last time this weekend only to find out yet again my reoccurring donation disappeared.

8. Meanwhile, the church has a list of people who paid using this app and my name isn't on it.

9. Sometimes it has inconvenienced me a bit by asking for my credentials(email & password) rather than just taking my fingerprint & it also has cleared the Church I give to at times.

10. There is no method of communicating with Vanco, other than posting reviews like this.I'm satisfied with the Give+ App, it has worked pretty well for me.

11. Doesn't give me much confidence that the app would be secure even if it was working with this lack of quality control.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix GivePlus Issues

1. Fix GivePlus Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart GivePlus: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the GivePlus App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GivePlus" » Open GivePlus » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GivePlus » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear GivePlus app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GivePlus servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GivePlus" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check GivePlus app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GivePlus might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GivePlus. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GivePlus then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GivePlus not working


2. Fix GivePlus Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GivePlus be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GivePlus not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GivePlus may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
