About EZView

EZView Customer Insights

1. Then after trying after 10-12 times it start working.Since 10 days not working properly,always shows choppy or scrambled view.. developers please rectify immediately, otherwise we will uninstall and spread to social mediasAVOID THIS APP!! crashes multiple times and is very slow to respond.

2. Playing back in horrendous - dragging to a point on the timeline doesn't always work as it'll jump to a completely different time, multiple times over.

3. It makes playback of alerts almost impossible to view because it gets so confusing to find the time's! Also, it stays on 24hr format even though i have it set to 12.

4. The connection drops every time the network connection of the device changes and the app has to be force closed and restarted.

5. Please fix your app to work constantly.Whenever i open my app to see live recording.. it shows device offline (11600) or failed(-1).

6. The only real problem I've had is that you can't change the notification settings to distinguish between Intruder Alert and Motion Detected, you can either have alerts for both or neither, which can be annoying on windy days.

7. Recording clips used to work but now only records the last 5 seconds of the clip I'm trying to export.... I'd rather pay for an app that actually works.

8. If you don't get it exactly on the line it shows an error.Eastern Standard Time zone is off by an hour and a half.

9. Ive manually set it several times from main component but it goes right back to wrong time! Yes, I have DST enabled but doesn't help.

10. It is difficult to notice when the stream drops because the image freezes, but looks normal.

11. UPDATE : Hours and hours on phone and texting with tech support but app still crash kingTwo years ago this was a great app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix EZView Issues

1. Fix EZView Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart EZView: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the EZView App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "EZView" » Open EZView » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for EZView » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear EZView app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from EZView servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "EZView" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check EZView app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, EZView might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall EZView. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall EZView then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing EZView not working


2. Fix EZView Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make EZView be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to EZView not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, EZView may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I have installed ezview nvr system in my office in Islamabad pakistan. The company from which i get it installed created account for me but didnt provide me with admin access details. Now upon asking they also didnt remember password of admin account. As a user i have limited access to many things thats why i need admin access. Please help me out with admin access password.
