GNARBOX App Customer Insights

1. One thing i would like to see however is to have the ability to rotate the screen into landscape mode when viewing images, then ill give you 5 starsThis whole user experience sucks, direction booklet has no instructions about backing up SD cards, and my Gnarbox just freezes on startup so I have no way to connect to the app.

2. Eager for added functionality since for the time being it is a bit similar to Selects in the browser tab.Easy to use once set up, would appreciate a landscape mode optionApp works well, nice simple interface.

3. All in all, completely kills an overall decent hardware experience.I really really like the app the main issues I'm having are the fact if I start a transfer in the app the drive does not show it as transferring which would be huge.

4. Update the firmware and being able to see your progress if you are transcoding or transferring!Can't transfer more than one photo at a time to local storage.

5. Hopefully in a future firmware update.Good interface and I feel confident transferring files.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix GNARBOX App Issues

1. Fix GNARBOX App Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart GNARBOX App: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the GNARBOX App App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GNARBOX App" » Open GNARBOX App » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GNARBOX App » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear GNARBOX App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GNARBOX App servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GNARBOX App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check GNARBOX App app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GNARBOX App might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GNARBOX App. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GNARBOX App then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GNARBOX App not working


2. Fix GNARBOX App Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GNARBOX App be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GNARBOX App not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GNARBOX App may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
