SyncUP DRIVE Customer Insights

1. I wish I could get the 10 hours I wasted on the phone back!!!Previously had Sprint Drive.. it worked perfectly! I miss it!!! Sync Up, although it works, it definitely is nowhere close to being as good as the Sprint Drive! I really wish T-MOBILE would look at what Sprint had and do the same.. I feel as tho they are trying so hard to get super big in the tech world in a short amount of time, that all they have is a lot of sub par half working apps and technology.

2. I feel like if T-Mobile is going to buy Sprint and force its customers to switch (and what a pain it was to switch) they should be giving the customers a discount and charging less for a device that isn't even close to the level that Sprint Drive was.

3. When the vehicle was moving, the Sprint Drive application had the ability to show on a map ( different displays possible) the actual car location, direction of travel, speed, and other details related to the travel.

4. It's really stupid how every time I unplug the device or the battery is low (ie winter), the app creates a "new car." It forgets all my settings, including speed alerts (idgaf about MY speed in MY car).

5. Not as good as Sprint drive T-Mobile forced us off of.

6. Basics are there, however, not enhanced features.Do not buy the Drive device until they fix the app.

7. But not this one at all.I too, like others, had Sprint Drive and it is far superior to SyncUP Drive by all levels.

8. DTC needs more detail as to what the codes mean - as Sprint Drive did.

9. When i installed the exchanged device , i could not get pass the setting of my vehicle color scheme.

10. Enhancments needed like Sprint Drive.

11. Having to add a vehicle everytime a device is disconnected is slightly frustrating.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SyncUP DRIVE Issues

1. Fix SyncUP DRIVE Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SyncUP DRIVE: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SyncUP DRIVE App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SyncUP DRIVE" » Open SyncUP DRIVE ™ » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SyncUP DRIVE » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SyncUP DRIVE ™ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SyncUP DRIVE servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SyncUP DRIVE ™" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SyncUP DRIVE app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SyncUP DRIVE might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SyncUP DRIVE. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SyncUP DRIVE then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SyncUP DRIVE not working


2. Fix SyncUP DRIVE Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SyncUP DRIVE be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SyncUP DRIVE not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SyncUP DRIVE may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
