1. The broken volume, and bluetooth are the reasons for the new rating of 2 stars, because it lowers the level of safety that this app provides by a good bit.Not impressed - though I haven't found any apps like this that do impress me! My biggest problem is that the app keeps trying to make a phone call (not initiated by me) and won't let me hang up! This interferes with any other apps (maps, pandora, texting) I might have running.
2. This app makes handling calls, and texts, GPS, music, and more while driving MUCH safer! 5 stars! After upgrading to a OnePlus Nord N200, the volume slider fails to change volume more often than not, and the app always complains that bluetooth needs to be turned off and back on again, because of an error.
3. It tells me to close and re-open Bluetooth which 1) not something I want to fiddle with when driving 2) doesn't always work!I had high hopes for this app since Android Auto now only works on newer cars and Google's driving mode now only works if you are using navigation.
4. I use it to read texts while I'm working and I'm using Bluetooth, saying "no response" or "respond" would be helpful instead of having to bring the phone out to cancel it.
5. A fix would be great! The only thing I wish this app had was the ability to choose whether you want to respond to a text or not using your voice instead of an "x" button.
6. Its even intuitive enough to ask me if i want to shutdown Drivemode if I start using different apps on my phone, and senses that I'm not driving anymore.
7. The new updates with automatic send without voice command has been a little embrassing when it gets the message wrong and sends it before I can get it to get a revision.
8. At first it was fine but when the same person gets the link and message after ever text it starts to get frustrating and annoying.
9. I can send messages using voice activation, but it won't read messages received.
10. The app will load and instead of running in the background, will take over the screen (which can be problematic when you're trying to use GPS) Trying to switch back to my original screen kinda defeats the purpose of hands-free.
11. When responding to an SMS message, Drivemode would claim "Message Sent!" and it would indeed show up in my messages as sent, but the recipient never received any of the messages.
