Why should I report an Issue with TextU - Private SMS Messenger?

1. Also I'm not receiving notifications for all texts.I REALLY like this app! I'm so use to the built-in message app that comes with the phones that I never attempted the search for another one... Until one day an update was needed...then I couldn't delete, sending text was difficult, and the app kept telling me that messages had stopped.

2. I tried everything, and after 3 days I gave up, I went on a search for the best possible app for my messages and calls and I found this lovely Text-U app...And let me tell you...I'M LOVIN' IT!! And you will too!!I used to be able to take a screenshot of a part of a conversation with someone (especially if I had to remind them something was said in a previous text conversation) and I can't anymore.

3. I don't try some options blindly if I'm uncertain how the function will affect my phone! I worry I won't notice the change, a short pop up explaining it's purpose and function would help, I'm not experienced nor do I understand every choice option given.

4. Also, if I'm in the middle of texting someone and I get a phone call, it does show up on screen, but if I choose to decline it, it takes me to another screen instead of letting just continue the message I was sending.

5. I thought whoever received the text could not screen shot but it's only on my phone which is dumb, why would I turn on an option to limit myself.

6. misleading, says you can backup text messages, but these messages can't be transferred to another messaging app, can only be backed up and restored in textu comon be honest.

7. Also, if have a conversation with the same person, they show up in different places.It's a pretty nice app and I'm particular about my messaging app but if I can customize it great! So this one is customizable BUT when I try to send a pic collage using a collage maker it says the file is too large.

8. Update: Had to delete the app, it got to the point where the home screen was blank and you couldn't even see your text message history or view new ones.

9. 3 MB is too large AND it does not store your messages on the phone like it gives you the option to.

10. I do enjoy learning!!! TYI have cleared the cache, hard restarted the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and hell even bought the membership but still can't download a single MMS.

1. Fix TextU Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart TextU: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the TextU App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TextU" » Open TextU - Private SMS Messenger » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TextU » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear TextU - Private SMS Messenger app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TextU servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TextU - Private SMS Messenger" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check TextU app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TextU might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall TextU. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TextU then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TextU not working

2. Fix TextU Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TextU be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TextU not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TextU may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
