1. Fyi, my android version is 7.1.1, so i don't know if this has already been addressed.its UserInterface is too compact! Its setting are too little, & missing too much! Is this app Frozen in time? The Ads wouldnt bother me if I could actually tap to close them, but its outside the screen.※ I used it a few years ago, when it had slightly more options, i dont remember it showing Ads then @the bottom ※( which gobble up Mobile Data/WiFi, Cache space, App Storage space! )Great app up until 2 updates ago.

2. I genuinly dont get the bad reviews, this is dam near perfectAfter deciding to replace Ghostery with a better privacy-aware browser, I trialled this free version for a number of weeks.

3. Not yet, at least.)The only thing keeping me from giving this app 5 stars is the fact that the exported images still do not show up in your gallery, and as such, you cannot view them outside the app or share them on apps like Twitter.

4. One thing that stops me from using Frost as my default browser is the lack of bookmark import function.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Frost Issues

1. Fix Frost Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Frost: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Frost App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Frost" » Open Frost - Private Browser » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Frost » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Frost - Private Browser app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Frost servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Frost - Private Browser" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Frost app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Frost might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Frost. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Frost then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Frost not working


2. Fix Frost Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Frost be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Frost not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Frost may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
