1. Using Samsung Galaxy J7.Works but its important to turn off screen dimmer if you have one installed, i tried installing many apps like this and uninstalled all of them right away until i figured it out, i made the mistake of not turning off the screen dimmer it would not let me grant permission on any volume to power button app so if u have other apps running on the screen this wont overide them endless u turn those other apps off.

But to the new users, this app WILL consume your battery even if it's at idle (because the app will still exist as a background app), so I suggest not leaving it on overnightDO NOT DOWNLOAD, this app will kill your phone, you will start to get add pop up when you unlock your phone and at random times, your phone will die in less that 20 minutes and my phone started dying at 70% because of this app and it doesn't even do what it says it does, it is completely useless, and you can't even delete it, there's no getting rid and all of this caused to to get a whole new phone, THIS ONE APP, DO NOT DOWLOADThe app causer such a heavy battery drain that at night on standby battery went from 65% to 1% in morning.

3. By doing that, you can close the app from the notification bar and open it thru power button!This app made my phone lost its speaker and mic capabilities (when I'm on a call, I can't hear what the other person is saying and vice versa, just silence).

4. Any of the volume button works as a power on button and the notification widget works to lock back the phone.

5. This app DOES NOT allow your volume button to replace the power button! It simply puts a notification in the task bar to lock the screen.

1. Restart Power Button to Volume Button: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Power Button to Volume Button App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Power Button to Volume Button" » Open Power Button to Volume Button » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Power Button to Volume Button » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Power Button to Volume Button app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Power Button to Volume Button servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Power Button to Volume Button" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Power Button to Volume Button app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Power Button to Volume Button might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Power Button to Volume Button. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Power Button to Volume Button then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Power Button to Volume Button not working

2. Fix Power Button to Volume Button Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Power Button to Volume Button be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Power Button to Volume Button not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Power Button to Volume Button may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
