1. What I want is a no-questions-asked toggle button on the home screen.I am using Samsung S8, when I tap the mobile data toggle button, it goes only to "Data Usage" menu, it does not automatically turn off your mobile data, you still need to tap the switch of mobile data.

2. Well, like everyone says gee s, the ads are a nuisance! He could be making money easily by offering a way to turn the ads off! For those who have newer phones and can't directly turn data on and off without the connection screen coming up, this is because the phone isn't rooted.

3. That's where you can install custom ROMS to get rid of bloatware and alter the looks of your home screen...and get rid of ads!All this does is open the settings screen -- something that's built in to recent versions of Android.

5. I wanted a WIDGET to access these functions, all this does in give you a button which pops up the app, and then YES, like everyone said, the ad banner is THREE TIMES the size of the app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Data Connect Issues

1. Fix Data Connect Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Data Connect: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Data Connect App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Data Connect" » Open Data Connect » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Data Connect » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Data Connect app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Data Connect servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Data Connect" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Data Connect app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Data Connect might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Data Connect. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Data Connect then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Data Connect not working


2. Fix Data Connect Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Data Connect be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Data Connect not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Data Connect may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
