This is after uninstalling and reinstalling hundreds of times and resetting my phone.This is a great app to keep track of your spending, make payments and to make edits to your profile,this app puts your spending into categories so you can keep track of your spending....You can also check your Credit score thru the app...just need a way to set alerts..Very nice and easy to use.

2. Kudos to Synchrony for listening to a customer's issue and handling it right away.After having repeated issues with the Synchrony website refusing to let me set up text alerts and notifications, I decided to download the app.

3. Every time it says "Unable to Connect Please check your network connection and try again" I've tried it on wifi , both with and without a VPN; tried it on mobile data; cleared data storage and cache: and, finally, a full uninstall/reinstall.

4. I have recurrent transfers to Synchrony from external banks, one of which, sends checks.

5. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that you can't see check images of checks deposited to your account.

6. However the check deposit feature is poor compared to other banks' apps.

7. They had no answer for the issue I raised.First off, glad Synchrony FINALLY has an app! long overdue.

8. Some accounts show the last 4 digits of my account while some doesn't show anything.

9. Other banks like Chase, the deposit shows up immediately, and the funds are available next day in full.

10. Synchrony is far too slow!Freezes and doesn't load.

11. Call synchrony bank and was told I should clear the cache.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Synchrony Bank Issues
