STEPPI Customer Insights

1. Also it doesn't connect with WearOSAfter my initial 5 stars for the idea and the fact that it gives a real purpose, I had to change my rating for the frequent crashing, inability to complete the challenge on the app (the really annoying complete survey button)! So the level of annoyance outtakes any challenge the app gives!I can't sign anymore, step count is very inaccurate, my watch tracker shows 7.2k steps, the app shows 1.2 k steps.

2. Poor choice of partnership for the Dubai Fitness challenge.UPDATE: Still crashes with the new update.. i can't even go in to mute the notifications! So I get tons of notification for messages I can't access or stop Crashes all the time - I can't see my team's messages or open the members page.. and I thought the new update would help but to no avail.

3. Edit2: sign in limit reached again Please fix all the issues before 'proudly supporting' any fitness Challange of such a big magnitude!!!The application does not work properly.

4. With the DXB 30x30 already in place, you need to seriously work on improving the performance of the app.Great concept but the technical glitches are so annoying.

5. It is asking to reconnect, but it doesn't work! You can't select to connect to Fitbit again, the button doesn't do anything.

6. It doesn't count my steps, and they are so many features that are not working, such as forgot password.

7. Scrolling through the list of members eventually starts duplicating the users; search doesn't work properly.

8. Yet they are running all the challenges when the app shuts down the day of the challenge Also In 2020, App worked fine for the first few days.

9. It gets stuck and always is loading/refresh circle on the screen and that wheel no matter how long I wait for it never ever stops spinning and my steps are not counted.

10. 2: After 3 days of successfully syncing my steps today morning, the dashboard decides go back to 0.

11. Even while moving around the menus, the data doesn't seem to quickly sync to it and all that I see is "loading".

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix STEPPI Issues

1. Fix STEPPI Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart STEPPI: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the STEPPI App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "STEPPI" » Open STEPPI » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for STEPPI » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear STEPPI app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from STEPPI servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "STEPPI" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check STEPPI app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, STEPPI might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall STEPPI. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall STEPPI then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing STEPPI not working


2. Fix STEPPI Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make STEPPI be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to STEPPI not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, STEPPI may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
