myColorado Customer Insights

1. This is the only thing I would really ever use the app for, so it continues to be completely useless for me.Great! I love it -- This app is an amazing time saver & also a life-saver when it comes to needing to use your ID or license for any reason when lost- You can have it ready to go without fumbling around in your purse / wallet, and it's accepted everywhere except for certain pawn shops 🤷🏽 .

2. It's accepted by dispensaries, liquor / tobacco outlets etc, casinos, hotels (even shows up on a xerox scan when they need to make a copy of your ID -*impressive!) Valid in-state only I give it A+++!Was working now it doesn't know who I am.

3. Tried uninstall and reinstall, but still can't edit those fields.Submitted perfectly useable photos of my drivers license after struggling for a while with the focus.

4. But you didn't open it in a while, you need to enter a password each time, which is hard to remember for something that you use twice a year.

5. I love the idea of having all my important state documents (driver's license, registration, vaccine records etc) in one format and in one place.

6. I have a lot of info stored in the app and think it's a great idea but it needs to work.Very cool concept, execution is not great.

7. Tried taking the three required photos half a dozen times only to be told they are not acceptable.

8. Facemapping does NOT WORK (and it isn't for your security, anyway: it's for facial-recognition databasing) - regardless whether you're on a T3 connection, have a top-tier phone and are standing in broad daylight.

9. So every time I try and use this app, it takes a password reset, a few emails to myself, a few texts, a password reset... Easier to go get that wallet.It just crashes when I try to use it.

10. It took 10+ attempts to verify my account and now that it finally did none of the buttons on the "wallet" page are functional.

11. For the past week, I've been unable to pull up my vaccine record because the fields where you enter your name/DOB just show "null" and can't be edited.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix myColorado Issues

1. Fix myColorado Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart myColorado: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the myColorado App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "myColorado" » Open myColorado » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for myColorado » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear myColorado app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from myColorado servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "myColorado" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check myColorado app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, myColorado might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall myColorado. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall myColorado then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing myColorado not working


2. Fix myColorado Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make myColorado be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to myColorado not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, myColorado may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Need to delete account bc I followed instructions wrong… I have a permit and received the info needed to get my license back. Just need to scan the permit barcode to create the new account to get my license back! GDPR

  • I let my friend use my colorado now I can't delete her I id out the app so I can put my new id in their please help me
