About myCardioMEMS™

Jude Medical for patients with the CardioMEMS™ HF System. myCardioMEMS patient application lets you receive communications from your clinic about medications and other information. myCardioMEMS app turns your smartphone into an interactive information tool, streamlining communications between you and your health care provider.

2. Indications and Usage: The CardioMEMS HF System is indicated for wirelessly measuring and monitoring pulmonary artery (PA) pressure and heart rate in New York Heart Association (NYHA) Class III heart failure patients who have been hospitalized for heart failure in the previous year.

3. Potential Adverse Events: Potential adverse events associated with the implantation procedure include, but are not limited to the following: Infection, Arrhythmias, Bleeding, Hematoma, Thrombus, Myocardial infarction, Transient ischemic attack, Stroke, Death, and Device embolization.

4. Brief Summary: Prior to using these devices, please review the Instructions for Use for a complete listing of indications, contraindications, warnings, precautions, potential adverse events and directions for use.

5. Convenient and easy to operate, myCardioMEMS app tracks your PA pressure readings and sends timely updates about your therapy. myCardioMEMS app can be downloaded by a primary caregiver (such as a spouse, son or daughter) or by the patient.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix myCardioMEMS Issues

1. Fix myCardioMEMS Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart myCardioMEMS: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the myCardioMEMS App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "myCardioMEMS" » Open myCardioMEMS™ » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for myCardioMEMS » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear myCardioMEMS™ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from myCardioMEMS servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "myCardioMEMS™" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check myCardioMEMS app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, myCardioMEMS might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall myCardioMEMS. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall myCardioMEMS then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing myCardioMEMS not working


2. Fix myCardioMEMS Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make myCardioMEMS be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to myCardioMEMS not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, myCardioMEMS may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
