1. what is with the app ? need to login everytime by turning off the WiFi or through otp can't it be log in till user log out ? very inconvenient and very stupid tooContacted customer service to have my number made into postpaid to port it to different provider, was told that the number wasn't registered to me, despite me using my singpass to sign up They refused to divulge further deets, citing privacy clauses, but ironically not taking data protection protocols against identity mix ups seriously.

2. In comparison, Giga is more sincere in this regards, which will always clear the freebies, follow by whatever was rollover in previous months, and then lastly your latest data allotment.

3. 🙂the plan seems to be very generous with data and always give free gb on some months.

4. Apart from that, all is good and well.Gomo is generous with some free data.

5. I can't terminate acct, or remove my card details to prevent being billed, so I gotta report my bank card as stolen to prevent being billed again.

6. "Free" data only being consumed AFTER your data allotment is being used up, so it is basically useless and insincere.

7. The system somehow lost my order, port in details, email, and the agents refused to provide me a confirmation of the failed order except via chat.

8. And the helpdesk is not responsive enough.Weak app compared to Giga! Can't work properly when you are on WiFi, need to connect to mobile network in order to use.

9. Pros: Gomo provides high data package + free caller ID.

10. I hope my number doesn't suddenly port out of the blue and I lose my number.Easy to use and simple to sign up.

11. I discover suddenly that I cannot make any outgoing calls when I have plenty of quota... And support actually thinks that they have to ask me - multiple times in the same chat! - whether I want to escalate this issue or not.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix GOMO Singapore Issues

1. Fix GOMO Singapore Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart GOMO Singapore: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the GOMO Singapore App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GOMO Singapore" » Open GOMO Singapore » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GOMO Singapore » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear GOMO Singapore app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GOMO Singapore servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GOMO Singapore" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check GOMO Singapore app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GOMO Singapore might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GOMO Singapore. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GOMO Singapore then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GOMO Singapore not working


2. Fix GOMO Singapore Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GOMO Singapore be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GOMO Singapore not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GOMO Singapore may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Dear Sir/Mdm,

    for the last 2 days from 16 Oct 2022 to 17 Oct 2022, I have encountered network problem with GOMO. My location is at 30, Seraya Avenue, Jurong Island, Singapore 627884. I am suspecting the base station near this location may have some issues. Please help to get the service provider servicing this base station to rectify the network issue as soon as possible.
    There maybe other issues if not because of base station. If that is the case, please help to investigate and improve the network connectivity problem, The current network is very weak, at times no network, sometime no bar, sometime only one bar.

  • I ported my 2 children mobile from GOMO to SIMBA. Both received e-mail notification "Unsuccessful Port In" from SIMBA - reason given by SIMBA was "your port-in request was rejected due to ID Mismatch, as the details submitted to SIMBA does not match with your current service provider, which is GOMO". Possible reasons cited were :
    1. Mismatch of ID (NRIC, Passport, FIN No.)
    2. Invalid Mobile Number
    3. Mobile Number is registered under Corporate BRN/Prepaid Plan
    They asked us to contact GOMO to check the reasons for rejection.
    The 2 numbers involved are :
    1. 97126155 under Tan, Yong Kang (NRIC S9646636F)
    2. 97860635 under Tan Yong Jie (NRIC S9927557Z)
    Their Birth Certificate names in SingPass are :
    1. Tan Yong Kang (Chen Yong Kang)
    2. Tan Yong Jie (Chen Yong Jie)
    The above information was pulled from SingPass when they applied to port-over their numbers from GOMO to SIMBA, whereas in GOMO, their names are without their Hanyu Pinyin names in brackets. Could this be the reason why the port-over is rejected.
    Please revert immediately as they have only given us a week to resolve this, and we may end up paying both GOMO and SIMBA if this drags on.
    My wife and my numbers were ported over from GOMO to SIMBA successfully without any issues about 1-2 months ago.

  • I sign up GOMO FOREVER50 plan on 15th Aug, GOMO charge me $20 upon registration, after I receive the SIM card and download GOMO app on 19th Aug, GOMO charge me another $20.. on 18th Sep and 18th Sep, GOMO charge me 2 time of $20 each.. why charge me so much??
