1. After spending time to meticulously set up my profile to truly express my info correctly, I want to start swiping other's profiles, but can't! I can swipe left, but every time I try to swipe right for someone I want to connect with, the window offering me to select a 1, 6, or 12 month Pro plan pops up.
2. Sometimes networking can be difficult for inexperienced people, and this app takes the edge off with its matching algorithm, and default icebreaker messages. The app makes daily attempts to set people up to connect with common interests.
3. If youre looking for a job out of state, wanting to do a narrow search, or want to swipe through multiple jobs other than the daily recommended you might as well go to indeed.
4. You have the chance to network and make new friends with people who are using the app for the same purpose (usually you can't tell if someone wants, or is free to network or mentor you).
5. Guessing users notice that quickly, then ignore "Match" connections. The app worked great until I upgraded my account now it consistently says errors and deletes parts of my profile randomly.
6. The free version doesn't really allow you to do anything, but paying for a subscription didn't unlock any of the additional features that were advertised, either.
7. Met a couple of people, few connections every few batches of free swipes (12).
8. I'm basically still using the free version despite having spent money on accessing the paid features.
9. If you're looking for connections, look elsewhere. It's a great way to get to know new people.
10. You can swipe through looking for people to hire or look for a job.
11. The issue is that even when 2 people agree they have reason to connect, nothing leads to an actual connection.
