Purolator Customer Insights

1. It shows a descriptive tracking offer, but when I put the destination postal code in nothing happens.What is this? What kind of app/ software doesn't work for what it's intended for! It doesn't even show updates on any packages!! Even using a 3rd party app clearly shows it but the same orders in the app and nothing! It's stuck as "label created" when it has in fact been picked up and on the way! Absolutely crazy that somebody can make an app that doesn't work! By far the worst I've seen you cannot even track packages in the official app!! How crazy is that?This app isn't bad but could be improved upon.

2. And the notification part should not require me to re-enter both the to and from address and postal codes especially when all that info is already included in the tracking number.

3. I like to review and double check all the details, name address, phone number, size of package etc.

4. Two different shipments I've tried to schedule pick ups and it never works! Only after countless tries can you maybe get this app to function.

5. I ship everyday for work from multiple customer sites all over the province.

6. And even accessing the 2 entries I can see means hitting the entry a half dozen times before it responds.App will not open.

7. If I wasn't forced to use Purolator to return my internet modem I would never ever chose it!! Terrible.So, the app isn't bad.

8. It'd be nice if I could keep track on where my package is between those steps, like the Canada Post app does.

9. Virtual assistant can't return any tracking info precisely.

10. Doesn't appear there is a team who'd care to make this app functional.

11. When it doesn't it's an unresponsive annoyance.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Purolator Issues

1. Fix Purolator Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Purolator: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Purolator App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Purolator" » Open Purolator » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Purolator » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Purolator app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Purolator servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Purolator" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Purolator app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Purolator might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Purolator. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Purolator then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Purolator not working


2. Fix Purolator Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Purolator be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Purolator not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Purolator may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
