Private Property Customer Insights

1. Although I love the new look and cyber color scheme, where the new design fails in comparison to the old design is the font choice, it almost makes the app a little bit prototypical, ask your designer to try fonts like "Source Sans Pro", "Segoe Sans" or "Open Sans" especially the light versions for a sleeker look.

2. Today as i was logging in, inside the Facebook sign in box, the fb symbol was sloppily connected with the wording there😔.This used to be my fav go to app but since updating my iPhone OS to latest version I can no longer rotate pics of properties in landscape mode.

3. There aren't enough options to select in order for the correct type of properties to come up.

4. Property 24 is SO MUCH BETTER and gives more accurate descriptions and has alot more options! This app is seriously limited.This has to be one of my most favorite apps of all time.

5. Neat layout but bad user experience.This is a decent app that makes searching fairly easy.

6. It can be frustrating to find nothing but vacation rentals while looking for a place to live in.Used to work perfectly.

7. Every time you want to look at another suburb you have to select the city over and over again.

8. Firstly, I can't select more than one suburb as it takes me straight to houses when I've clicked on the first.

9. It would be nice to be able to filter per month or per day rentals though.

10. Superb app and the developers respond quickly to queries with regards to the app so that's also good.Very laggy.

11. Mainly, you should be able to select multiple suburbs in one search.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Private Property Issues

1. Fix Private Property Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Private Property: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Private Property App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Private Property" » Open Private Property » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Private Property » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Private Property app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Private Property servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Private Property" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Private Property app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Private Property might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Private Property. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Private Property then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Private Property not working


2. Fix Private Property Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Private Property be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Private Property not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Private Property may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
