The other annoyance is when I change the size of text that is supposed to be part of the entry, not the title, the text editor will often automatically revert the text back to H1The developers have promised updates for three years but at present the paid Android version is pretty weak compared to the MacOS version.

7. I love having multiple journals, some photo-based, and tags as well to keep things organized across time and topics.

8. Background is white or black, can't adjust or drag photos, color font, etcI have used this app since 2014 and have always loved it's easy platform.

9. I document everything & now I can use voice clips, videos, photos, tags, map locations even, all in one spot throughout my day, organized, easy to get to via a calendar view.

1. Fix Day One Journal Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Day One Journal: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Day One Journal App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Day One Journal" » Open Day One Journal: Private Diary » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Day One Journal » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Day One Journal: Private Diary app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Day One Journal servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Day One Journal: Private Diary" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Day One Journal app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Day One Journal might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Day One Journal. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Day One Journal then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Day One Journal not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Day One Journal be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Day One Journal not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Day One Journal may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
