1. If your app doesn't work that well, doesn't that defeat the entire purpose of having one? I hate having to dig to find anything useful.Well, after many years of using only this app as an alternative to Google search, I am finally deleting it.

2. Great concept, shame about the execution.It's been almost a month since that this browser works on just the images search mode!!! this Browser has some problems but not worse than other Apps, as well as STARTPAGE has unique advantages that none of the other Browsers have.

4. Startpage is still useful as a browser but the workaround is to go to wikipedia and use their links at the bottom of topic pages, or click startpage search result links to out of date things and narrow the search from there.

5. I even used the banner's 'create a shortcut' button to create another in hopes it would toggle it off, but it doesn't.Good search engine and it has some decent features.

6. Half the time the results have nothing to do with the search terms I have entered, and will almost show a whole page of duplicate results.

10. It simply doesn't work any more.I liked this app when I first used it, it was fluid and quick, but I gave up after the first few uses cos the app would continually open with a full screen suggestion to try the mobile app ( duh).

1. Fix Startpage Private Search Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Startpage Private Search: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Startpage Private Search App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Startpage Private Search" » Open Startpage Private Search » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Startpage Private Search » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Startpage Private Search app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Startpage Private Search servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Startpage Private Search" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Startpage Private Search app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Startpage Private Search might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Startpage Private Search. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Startpage Private Search then reinstall.
