1. I think I like the new menu layouts, time will tell for sure, but so far - nice! It appears the keyboard input strip shows more keys at a time now too, much easier to work with, thanks! - One thing, since the last couple of updates, I can't seem to locate the crescendo/diminuendo wedges.
2. For example, in the key of A major, bass clef is shown to have A#s, E#s, and B#s.A significant improvement on Chaconne - note entry is quick and intuitive, as is moving around the score and cut/copy/paste selection.
3. The scores look great (no "homebrew" notation you see in other apps); the tools makes sense and are easy to find (I think you deserve an award just for your GUI!); it exports to PDF; and it even plays scores back.
4. Note to the dev - Chaconne 2 is compact in split screen whilst using other apps - like Amazing Slow Downer or Spotify etc.
5. The chord dictionary, however, would benefit from some expansion: it is not possible to tension chords (eg A7#11), or to enter 9ths, 13s etc which limits its use for writing lead sheets for jazz - which is mostly what I use scoring packages for.
6. Given that the playback doesn't interpret chord symbols, I would have thought that could be implemented fairly easily.Wow! I'd given up finding an intuitive, flexible notation app, but here it is.
7. I wish we could have files in the app itself with our music, that way we can work on multiple projects at a time and be able to go back and edit past projects.
8. Hope to support your efforts however I can.Excellent and full-featured score editor, producing good printable scores.
9. It's reliable, but shows a blank blue screen for a long time before verifying if saving after many additions.
10. **Edit - I did write developer for help, still waiting .I just downloaded this app this evening and I started using it right away.
11. BRILLIANT! I've been using the old apps (Chaconne 1 & 2 beta) which I thought were excellent - especially 2.
