Why should I report an Issue with Maestro - Music Composer?

1. Besides that, its an incredible app.I've been using this app for years but you guys never added the option of using different rest on a 2nd layer/voice Why? It's impossible to compose contrapuntal works, i don't want to add 4 pianos!! I believe that is a change that will not take much time to develop, the second voice/layer gives you a rest of the same value of the note, just change it so we can choose the one we want.As far as functionality is concerned, this app is truly amazing and I have used it for years.

2. But the keyboard is not playable...Hello! So first of all, the app is great, I can finally express my ideas in music! But recently while I was writing a song, the app started saying consecutively "needs rest" or "needs bar line".

3. Please make an option to choose standard instrument keys (ex: Bb Trumpet, C Trumpet, etc) Alternatively, add a better way to edit (or remove) what is shown on the exported music.The app is easy to use, and the UI is clean and functional.

4. The only things that lower the rating is small issues, for example; it won't allow for any placement of a segno and a coda at the same time, or that lyrics and dynamics constantly overlap.

5. The finished music then has a note to transpose up/down (which is not done when performing, and should not be on the final sheet music).

6. You should add a button to activate a playable keyboard that you can use to find the proper notes before you write them on the staff.

7. Tip: if another's song doesn't immediately load, switch screens, and wait for the music to begin.

8. I spent a decent amount of time making a song and had a stabbing pain in my eyes, I hadn't even looked at a screen before that.

9. But they are still the same function in the app.Very good app and very happy with all the just wished you could have more than 80 notations per line because if you are using a tablet or a larger screen device you can fit more onto the screen.

10. Is this just a glitch? Did I write the music wrong? I don't actually really know how to read sheet music, so maybe that's the problem.

11. The newer updates have made the interface a lot more manageable and accessible than previous iterations, however...I had nearly 50 projects on the books with the app and I returned to find that every single one of them has vanished entirely.

1. Fix Maestro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Maestro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Maestro App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Maestro" » Open Maestro - Music Composer » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Maestro » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Maestro - Music Composer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Maestro servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Maestro - Music Composer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Maestro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Maestro might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Maestro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Maestro then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Maestro not working

2. Fix Maestro Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Maestro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Maestro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Maestro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
