1. I've been forced to use this for more than 2 years and I have never seen a bug fixed, only added.This is one of the worst apps I have ever used, I'm constantly having to delete and redownload cause it stops working, if I close the app down I get a notification saying the app has crashed it happens every 30-45 seconds! I emailed them about it and nothing happened I haven't received anything back I've emailed probably 15 times because its irritating.

2. Being able to set up a few products that are applied over and over in the same mixture as one touch buttons would be immensely helpful in saving hours (yes, hours!) of manual input as well as finger tip and screen wear.Listen to all the reviews.

3. only works well when you have full service, one less bar of service and I may not be able to open an account for 30 minutesTerrible, it constantly says it has stopped working, when its not even running... It crashes regularly, often in the middle of filling out important paperwork.

4. Just getting the stupid "Techroutes has stopped working" fixed would at least make it a little more tolerable, I'm sick of being interrupted by this app when I'm not even on the job.This has to be the only pest control app on the market because if there were any other, this one would lose every single user.

5. Closes out when taking pictures for accounts more than half the time, can't be on my phone without a notification popping up with an error message even after the app has been closed out for hours.

6. The newest one that I haven't seen anyone mention yet is the UI getting stuck off screen when you load into an appointment from the map.

7. I switched to this app because I had to upgrade as business grew but this was a terrible mistake... half the time can't even get it to load my appointments and then even when it does I can't get it to load customer portals.

8. It doesn't give you an option to manually enter different locations you've treated, or products or bugs you've used or treated for.

9. As a field tech doing constant and multiple identical applications by the hundreds, it would become vastly more useful if when adding a product, there was a favorites button.

10. I'd rather even go back to paper than keep using this app.I've used different apps in the past and they all have their flaws, limitations, and their ups and downs.

11. Landscape mode has the screen blocked 70% of the time with the bottom control bar.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix TechRoutes Issues

1. Fix TechRoutes Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TechRoutes: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TechRoutes App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TechRoutes" » Open TechRoutes » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TechRoutes » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear TechRoutes app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TechRoutes servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TechRoutes" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TechRoutes app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TechRoutes might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TechRoutes. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TechRoutes then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TechRoutes not working


2. Fix TechRoutes Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TechRoutes be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TechRoutes not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TechRoutes may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
