2. The streaming equalizer is available for all Oticon Bluetooth hearing aids except Oticon Opn and Oticon Siya, if your devices support audio streaming.

3. The Oticon ON App is compatible with all Oticon Bluetooth hearing aids.

4. Depending on the hearing aids and the mobile device you are using, you may or may not have access to all features the app offers.

Oticon ON Customer Insights

1. I'm in the market for a new phone and seriously considered getting the iPhone for that reason.Disappointing. I bought ($6,000) the latest and greatest hearing aids a few years ago (opn), only to discover newer and better hearing aids from oticon were released only a short time later.

2. They control volume, disconnect from Bluetooth, have a hearing fitness that doesn't accurately tell you how long the hearing aids were on.

3. I have to pair hearing hearing aids all over again and not only that but hearing aids will lose Bluetooth connection when I'm listening to maps give me directions to my destination.

4. Success! Agent who helped me was terrific.I can pair hearing aids without oticon app.

5. I've discovered, whenever I'm in my car that has Bluetooth, when I get out, the hearing aids don't reconnect.

6. I also like taking phone calls through my hearing aids.

7. I did that, and also have the phone by my hearing aids when I put them on.

8. It works for a while and then on its own, it goes into Demo mode! This will disrupt one or both of my hearing aids.

9. Support told me to go back to my audiologist.I purchased my hearing aids on 10/11/21.

10. As I am rating this, the app is siting in demo mode and I am recharging my hearing aids.

11. This app has not changed or been upgraded since I first purchased my hearing aids.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Oticon ON Issues

1. Fix Oticon ON Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Oticon ON: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Oticon ON App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Oticon ON" » Open Oticon ON » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Oticon ON » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Oticon ON app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Oticon ON servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Oticon ON" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Oticon ON app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Oticon ON might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Oticon ON. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Oticon ON then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Oticon ON not working


2. Fix Oticon ON Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Oticon ON be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Oticon ON not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Oticon ON may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • This App. is terrible. Constantly shutting off when used for T.V. Also says diconnected to hearing aid when it is connected. Volume control does not register half the time!! etc. Please, somebody do something many complaints of the same nature from others!!
