1. -1* because the scan doesn't do ping.. -1* in settings there is an option that you can't change only toggle on our off which is "data usage alert: 6.5mb" kinda low since that's less than a short hd video.Only works when the internet is functioning properly! When my internet was very slow (i was still able to view YouTube video), this app was incapable of measuring anything; it could not start the action of measuring! I guess too busy at loading it's own ads...Seems to be accurate speed results.

2. If I could trust this with my router configuration settings i might have considered it since customer service is non existent on Virgin now and the routers auto settings cause issuesI don't expect a web speed test to take 5 minutes to load.

3. Rookie bugs, a waste of my time.I had tried these apps for 2 days, honestly its really useful for tracking our owned if there's any weakness or slow line on your phone.

4. If you choose NO, they use that as another opportunity to play a video ad, with sound!! What a punishment! Won't do that again! :-(( Spam gone overboard, on an otherwise functional, and would-be nice-looking app.

5. It says it can not connect and that I should "check your connection." Apparently that I had just DOWNLOADED it doesn't seem to matter.

6. I also don't t like it when my connection icon is going nuts showing a lot of information exchange while this is loading.

7. Totally, I loved this app's help me find any unabnormal activities that will harm your phone especially from hackers.

8. 4 Stars as with a speed test the package would be complete and it would be the best on the market that I have come across.

10. It certainly had NO problems filling the screen however: I guess ads know how to use my "nonexistent" connection.

1. Fix Speed Test Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Speed Test: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Speed Test App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Speed Test" » Open Speed Test - Wifi Speed Test » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Speed Test » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Speed Test - Wifi Speed Test app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Speed Test servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Speed Test - Wifi Speed Test" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Speed Test app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Speed Test might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Speed Test. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Speed Test then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Speed Test not working

2. Fix Speed Test Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Speed Test be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Speed Test not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Speed Test may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
