1. Being able to do that on a tablet , at each of the booths, would be much easier than carrying a laptop.The custom charts feature no longer works after the last updateCan't download the certificateLiked the doc report and the service check-in on the new version.Thus is definitely a great advancement for lightspeed to be able to use there system on a mobile phone.
2. Our whole purpose for trying it was to count parts that aren't situated near a desktop computer... but unless I'm missing it, there isn't even an inventory section at all in the current version of the mobile app.
3. We are going to be going to a dealer show soon, one that we will be doing a lot of parts buying at, and it would be handy to be able to use the app to look at last 12 month history on parts.
4. It seems rather limited overall, for a company that touts itself as the greatest DMS on the planet.App works well, but I wish we could access more part information on the app.
5. ;)With how powerful the Lightspeed software is, I was expecting much more functionality from the mobile ap.
6. Still needs to be a little cleaner and easier to use however.The features it has work as they should but it would be really nice to see and manipulate existing repair orders.
7. It would be life changing if it were possible to enter inventory counts within this app.
8. I'm sure that will be possible in an update coming soon.
