1. Being able to do that on a tablet , at each of the booths, would be much easier than carrying a laptop.The custom charts feature no longer works after the last updateCan't download the certificateLiked the doc report and the service check-in on the new version.Thus is definitely a great advancement for lightspeed to be able to use there system on a mobile phone.

2. Our whole purpose for trying it was to count parts that aren't situated near a desktop computer... but unless I'm missing it, there isn't even an inventory section at all in the current version of the mobile app.

3. We are going to be going to a dealer show soon, one that we will be doing a lot of parts buying at, and it would be handy to be able to use the app to look at last 12 month history on parts.

4. It seems rather limited overall, for a company that touts itself as the greatest DMS on the planet.App works well, but I wish we could access more part information on the app.

5. ;)With how powerful the Lightspeed software is, I was expecting much more functionality from the mobile ap.

6. Still needs to be a little cleaner and easier to use however.The features it has work as they should but it would be really nice to see and manipulate existing repair orders.

7. It would be life changing if it were possible to enter inventory counts within this app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix LightspeedEVO Issues

1. Fix LightspeedEVO Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart LightspeedEVO: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the LightspeedEVO App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "LightspeedEVO" » Open LightspeedEVO » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for LightspeedEVO » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear LightspeedEVO app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from LightspeedEVO servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "LightspeedEVO" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check LightspeedEVO app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, LightspeedEVO might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall LightspeedEVO. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall LightspeedEVO then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing LightspeedEVO not working


2. Fix LightspeedEVO Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make LightspeedEVO be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to LightspeedEVO not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, LightspeedEVO may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
