If you are doing a very slow move, there's no way to know it failed.DON'T DOWNLOAD Terrible, not because there's no timer feature for the camera (even though that is kinda annoying) but mainly because it will randomly stop recording in the middle of recording a video!! Yes, you read that right; I was trying to get a recording of me playing a song, and it was taking alot of attempts, (you know how it is.) And when I finally got a recording I was satisfied with, I went over to check the recording, and it had stopped 30 seconds in BEFORE I HAD EVEN STARTED PLAYINGThe app has some really great and usable features, but the coolest parts of the app like motion lapse, panorama and facetracking are super inconsistent.

Couldn't figure out why my phone wouldn't connect to the gimbal, but then I finally figured out 1) your location has to be on and 2) the app may not open to the right product - make sure to swipe left or right to the right product, it does not automatically detect the device; it has to be on the right product or the device won't show up.

3. Why wouldn't the trigger button take the picture, instead of the tiny button that is also the power button? Why does the camera make a noise even though camera noise is turned off?The app works with my iSteadyMobile+, but needs lots of improvement.

4. The app refuses to connect to my phone (Google pixel 4 xl on both android 11 and 12 beta 1) when it does it works alright but then if you put it to do a panorama the app crashes.

5. Worst location for Object tracking and Zoom/Focus icons (they should be on the bottom right for easy reaching).The app will crash sometimes when picture modes selected.

6. Also tried to calibrate the gimble using both methods described in the user manual and it still does not level out.Good, but incomplete.

7. I'm not sure if it's a motor issue or the app's bluetooth communication with the gimbal, but the motor will jerk in small increments as it pans through automated shots.

8. Hohem, you came so close to perfection, then faceplanted in the app.I was excited to get this for my gopro since it has the option to record when and how the camera moves.

9. I would definitely give a higher rating if this was fixed.The gimbal works great.

10. The picture mode icons are of grey color with white writing, impossible to read.

1. Fix Hohem Gimbal Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Hohem Gimbal: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Hohem Gimbal App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Hohem Gimbal" » Open Hohem Gimbal » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Hohem Gimbal » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Hohem Gimbal app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Hohem Gimbal servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Hohem Gimbal" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Hohem Gimbal app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Hohem Gimbal might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Hohem Gimbal. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Hohem Gimbal then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Hohem Gimbal not working

2. Fix Hohem Gimbal Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Hohem Gimbal be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Hohem Gimbal not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Hohem Gimbal may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
