Gold's Gym Customer Insights

1. It's constantly glitching, it forgets your password on a whim, and more recently, it won't let you log in even after sending a reset password link to yourself!! It wouldn't allow me to input a new password at all! This app has had so many problems from the get-go, and I feel like the company just doesn't give a F***!!!I've uninstalled/reinstalled twice.

2. Gyms have suffered significantly due to COVID however security should not be compromised.Usually love but this last week it has stopped loading classes and so I can no longer set up my workout schedule.

3. but keeping track myself... i also like to pick the classes i will take then if life comes up i try and go switch it to another time or cancel but it keeps pooping up with OopS and Sorrys all over the place.

4. Cant link to my account, can't change profile, stuck with old barcode, map doesn't work, uninstalled and reinstalled, etc.

5. It let's me enter my email and password, shows a loading circle, asks for my location, then crashes.

6. I was recently logged out of app, when I attempted to log back in I noticed password was visible and quickly switched the mode but then I realized that what I was typing was still show down in the predictive text area.

7. The check in dates are reversed, you must scroll down to last entry to see if your check in was recorded.at first I thought this was a glitch but now I'm sure it's just a feature of the app.

8. I've run into nothing but error messages and links to sign up for classes I don't want.

9. A terrible experience; recommend waiting a while until they fix the issues.The app was good until the September 4, 2019, update.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Gold's Gym Issues

1. Fix Gold's Gym Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Gold's Gym: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Gold's Gym App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Gold's Gym" » Open Gold's Gym » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Gold's Gym » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Gold's Gym app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Gold's Gym servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Gold's Gym" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Gold's Gym app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Gold's Gym might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Gold's Gym. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Gold's Gym then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Gold's Gym not working


2. Fix Gold's Gym Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Gold's Gym be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Gold's Gym not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Gold's Gym may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
