About GENIUScontrol

1. Hearing aid compatibility: The app is only compatible with the latest generation of Miracle-Ear Hearing Aids; ME5400/5300 (ME-1), ME4400/4300 (ME-2), ME3400/3300 (ME-3) and ME2275/ME2400 (ME-4).

GENIUScontrol Customer Insights

1. It has a volume control and mute button that also do nothing.I would have given it a five-star but unfortunately when I came to understand that my Android phone lacked some of the features I would have gotten with an Apple phone.

2. Also they need to make more compatible to android so that phone sound and music etc is heard thru it like it does on iphones.

3. In this day and age of technology you would think that someone would be able to have an app that resolves the issues that have been discussed in the ratings.I used to be able to check my battery strength and that let me know how each hearing aid was working, ie was it clogged with wax.

4. i would like more warning that the battery needs to be replaced, then suddenly hearing music in one or the other earThe app is better than the hearing aids.

5. However, in this age of technology, it makes no sense that I can't connect/route phone calls, and music directly to my hearing aid devices from my phone.

6. It's getting alot feedback.Works okay except the directional control doesn't stay set and reverts to omni directional after about 3 to 5 minutes after you set it, and I can't tell much or any difference between prom 1 and 2 although 3 works very well for watching TV.

7. For what we paid for ,there are aids for a quarter of the cost that work as good and are rechargeable.Application works intermittently.

8. Flakey and sound like poo.You should be able to control each hearing aid individually .

9. i would like to be able to program my miracle ear from my Android phone.

10. I use prom 1 most of the time at a mid volume setting and while not great it's much better than the Belltone Aids I had previously for speech clarification.App is unreliable.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix GENIUScontrol Issues

1. Fix GENIUScontrol Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart GENIUScontrol: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the GENIUScontrol App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GENIUScontrol" » Open GENIUScontrol » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GENIUScontrol » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear GENIUScontrol app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GENIUScontrol servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GENIUScontrol" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check GENIUScontrol app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GENIUScontrol might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GENIUScontrol. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GENIUScontrol then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GENIUScontrol not working


2. Fix GENIUScontrol Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GENIUScontrol be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GENIUScontrol not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GENIUScontrol may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
