Monifi Customer Insights

1. I RECEIVED A NOTICE BY MAIL THAT MY ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED WITH NO EXPLANATION! This app is a complete WASTE OF TIME!!App fails to open; stuck on "Loading." It worked OK for first few days.

2. I tried to reach customer service MULTIPLE times with no response & then when I finally did, I was told I wasn't eligible for the bonus because it was too long after opening the account.

3. Terrible bank.Used to work, now I get an error message every time I try to log in : "This device does not meet the minimum security requirements." It doesn't give any explanation as to why, just a pop-up with that message .

4. Called customer service and they told me the account was closed for business reasons.

5. Thats a red flag scamWorst digital bank No option for transferring from other banks even though these idiots tell you there is Zelle and external transfer.

6. I called them up to see what was happening and was told they closed my account.

7. So u talked to a customer service and they said I need a phone bill with my full name on it and the new number on it.

8. When I opened the account, I created a goal & spent DAYS trying to transfer $ to the goal w/ NO success.

9. Edit: Monifi closed my bank accounts without stating any reasons.

10. Stay away from this "bank"!This is the work online banking that I've seen.

11. Tried to login and it says can't find your account.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Monifi Issues

1. Fix Monifi Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Monifi: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Monifi App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Monifi" » Open Monifi » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Monifi » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Monifi app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Monifi servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Monifi" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Monifi app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Monifi might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Monifi. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Monifi then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Monifi not working


2. Fix Monifi Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Monifi be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Monifi not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Monifi may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
