MemberCard Customer Insights

1. I find the filter function frustrating to use and lacking, the list of participating businesses out of date, and the discount redemption feature needs some work.This app is useless.

2. So far so good.Version as of June 2022 doesn't let you browse all categories at once, is missing map markers for the category selected, isn't updating prior redemptions upon renewal of membership, selected map markers don't update with details, and very slow to scroll via map.

3. Thank you for your time.Make sure you enter the hyphen shown on the plastic membership card you receive by mail, otherwise the app does not activate.

4. You still need your book to locate property in each townThis app really is useless, I enter a City and the list is blank, Even though I know there are listings for that city.App would not open.

5. When filtering for local amenities the app gives me businesses for the entire state when I use Albuquerque and Albuquerque area.

6. If I then filter using Albuquerque in the list of businesses, I only get those with Albuquerque in the name.

7. I had no trouble at all accessing two memberships, I'm seeing the same stuff that is listed in the booklets we receive with the member cards.

8. I filter for businesses in my area and it shows a blank page.

9. Limited functionality and hard to use now.Albuquerque is a city in New Mexico, not a state.

10. It's not exactly fair to ding the app because restaurants still like to see the actual card - these shifts take time.

11. I live in Wisconsin.App works good as long as you know the Name of the place you want to go.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MemberCard Issues

1. Fix MemberCard Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MemberCard: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MemberCard App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MemberCard" » Open MemberCard » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MemberCard » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MemberCard app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MemberCard servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MemberCard" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MemberCard app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MemberCard might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MemberCard. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MemberCard then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MemberCard not working


2. Fix MemberCard Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MemberCard be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MemberCard not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MemberCard may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
