iVMS-4500 HD Customer Insights

1. Can't view more than 2 minutes at a time, can't view in portrait view on my phone, have to close the app and restart every time you want to view a different camera, or go back to the app at any time.

2. Would not recommend.App worked great for years up until a few weeks ago now anytime I want to view my cameras I have to completly restart my phone.

3. Was a great app now is junk from whatever update they did go back to the way it was.Annoying that I can't (or can't figure out) how to remote playback a certain time frame.

4. Shocking Web development and it's clear they don't know what they are doing to constantly update the vision app making it worse each time.

5. They need to read these comments and fix it properly for all regions and markets and support non Chinese hardware.Completely a useless app, which I expected it to be a better version of the previous one.

6. Two issues 1) There is no full screen view in live or remote playback.

7. The video is always stretched to fit the device screen.Getting worse and worse all the time.

8. Then takes ages to move it to where you want as it's erratic and spends more time spinning than moving to where you want.

9. Bring back the old version or update this to have the same capability the last one did!!I started out using this app and I loved it.

10. And go right into the app as the phone comes back up if I dont it will not work and when it does if I change screens from one camera to another the connection fails again and I have to repeat the process over.

11. This version is a waste of time and space.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix iVMS-4500 HD Issues

1. Fix iVMS-4500 HD Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart iVMS-4500 HD: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the iVMS-4500 HD App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "iVMS-4500 HD" » Open iVMS-4500 HD » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for iVMS-4500 HD » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear iVMS-4500 HD app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from iVMS-4500 HD servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "iVMS-4500 HD" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check iVMS-4500 HD app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, iVMS-4500 HD might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall iVMS-4500 HD. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall iVMS-4500 HD then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing iVMS-4500 HD not working
