The SilverCloud location management software app will allow owners and users of the SilverCloud and SilverCloud Sync real-time GPS tracking systems, the ability to view and monitor the precise location of their assets or vehicles, whether it's a single vehicle or an entire fleet of vehicles, from anywhere conveniently from their phone.

SilverCloud Customer Insights

1. Now I don't receive notifications when it leaves the insta fenceThis has been a good learning experience ! I rated this GPS and service shortly after I had started using it, I was paying $20 a month for the service.

2. It was so slow but that was because I was only paying $20 a month the more I paid the faster it went which was much better and the battery life last for much longer than two weeks mine has lasted as much as a month of course the faster it updates the more the battery goes.

3. I was hoping it can show the detail areas it travelling throughWhen I first received the device I refused the software upgrade, it worked perfectly.

4. The device itself is supposed to last 30 days without recharging the battery.

5. Other than that device/ hardware and battery work great.Easy to set up and easy to use.

6. The energy saver mode doesn't give you the locations that the device traveled in between pings/updates.

7. Shows vehicle location almost real-time and you can set various alert locations.

8. They emailed some instructions for a fix and unit was up and running in minutes.It's a great tool for tracking equipment.

9. You can't force the device to wake up and give you a location.

10. Now that I have it synced, it does not start recording in the morning once motion should have been detected.

11. Bought a second device and installed it last night.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SilverCloud Issues

1. Fix SilverCloud Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SilverCloud: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SilverCloud App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SilverCloud" » Open SilverCloud » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SilverCloud » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SilverCloud app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SilverCloud servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SilverCloud" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SilverCloud app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SilverCloud might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SilverCloud. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SilverCloud then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SilverCloud not working


2. Fix SilverCloud Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SilverCloud be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SilverCloud not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SilverCloud may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
