JetBlue Customer Insights

1. all in all, a pretty good app to use!When I travel, the last thing I need is a hassle checking in for a flight, getting my boarding pass on my phone, and trouble tracking flight status or finding alternative flights.

2. First one is insufficient payment when trying to book with points without accepting terms and conditions, next one is canceling a points purchased ticket says "heads up you must be logged in" when you're already logged in and cannot cancel, and another is password doesn't meet criteriaCouldn't use the app to check-in.

3. I can navigate around the app, but whenever I try to check into a flight or view a boarding pass, it often takes ~5-10 minutes to load (it will just get stuck on a screen that says "updating" or something).

4. The fact that it's this way works in JetBlue's favor and I'm sure they know it.This is an app which makes it easy to track your flight, check-in, and have a digital boarding pass.

5. And worse! When I reached the payment screen and tried to use 1Password to fill up my credit card info, guess what? It switched to the 1Password app for my fingerprint and when it switched back to the JetBlue app it went all the way to the start.

6. Avoid JetBlue! Examples: - Selecting "Help -> Call us" displays the phone number without a way to click on it to call, or copy the number and paste in the dialer.

7. - Slow!!!Worst airline app ever! I tried really hard to check in using the app, but they somehow have zero state management in the app and if I switched from the app to something else in my phone it would just got back all the way to the start.

8. However I almost missed boarding my flight because my boarding pass in the app suddenly would not appear on the main screen.

9. Try again later."The app is definitely useful and I love having my boarding pass on my phone.

10. It's impossible!!! You will loose all the info you have already entered and have to do it all over from scratch!!!! So stressful when trying to get ready for your trip and don't have a computer available to do this very simple process!!!Horrible app.

11. I expect the check-in process to work every time with "oops, something went wrong.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix JetBlue Issues

1. Fix JetBlue Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart JetBlue: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the JetBlue App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "JetBlue" » Open JetBlue - Book & manage trips » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for JetBlue » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear JetBlue - Book & manage trips app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from JetBlue servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "JetBlue - Book & manage trips" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check JetBlue app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, JetBlue might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall JetBlue. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall JetBlue then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing JetBlue not working


2. Fix JetBlue Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make JetBlue be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to JetBlue not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, JetBlue may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
