Why should I report an Issue with LK - Ableton & Midi Controller?

1. Edit: Compared the metronome to the one on the ipad app (that works fine btw) and it seems the issue is not the metronome but the matrix timeline is what's running the wrong time.It's functionality was intermittent, would lose connection randomly and occasionally not show up in Live, using the same settings.

I'll just save up for hardware, thanks.Update: I see there was an update yesterday so not sure that fixed the problem I was having, but it seems in order to adjust velocity in the matrix view you have to actually click on the the piano roll graphic on the left, to highlight the velocity value in the bottom and adjust.

3. the features seem designed for serious musicians who would most likely be using a real MIDI controller, so why hamstring people with tiny buttons that are virtually invisible on a Samsung A30.

4. Still have problems with disconnects, and would think adding a scale mode for the pads would be a nice interface ill add a star to the review as it could be useful for some people.

5. Setup is a pain, so much so that I ran out of demo time (a feature that wasn't made clear before downloading or upon first opening) to use the module I was testing before I had a chance to run the controller through its paces.

6. Overall I know we dont exactly have many choices, but this one will just frustrate you and cost you money better spent on vsts.Love the different scales and that you can record midi tracks.

7. Idk which part of software is responsible for my problems, but sometimes the midi controller just disconnects from my Windows PC, and I have to restart the host app.

8. My main issue is that the metronome in midi mode is broken.

9. How can this be left out? The guide references tools that are not present, like they pen key and metronome, and vague descriptions of items that are not in the same position as the interface pictured just makes it more confusing.

10. It shows in menu mode=midi, device=external_usb..., but does not send any MIDI messages to host.

11. I wouldnt mind paying a fair price for the entire thing, and in fact, the first thing i did was look to see how i could buy it, but was turned off by how it seems like it fragmented.

1. Fix LK Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart LK: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the LK App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "LK" » Open LK - Ableton & Midi Controller » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for LK » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear LK - Ableton & Midi Controller app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from LK servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "LK - Ableton & Midi Controller" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check LK app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, LK might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall LK. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall LK then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing LK not working

2. Fix LK Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make LK be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to LK not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, LK may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
