Aluratek Smart Frame Customer Insights

1. The first day I set the frame up, I was able to upload photos onto it but haven't been able to since, even though the app says successful.

2. Until then 1 star.I was given an older model of one of these touch screen frames (brand new) and I guess "Aluratek" has since deleted every method in the last couple of years to use their product wirelessly.

3. I've uninstalled the app multiple times, restarted my phone, and reset the frame itself and nothing seems to work.Keeps crashing says it has a bug still.

4. It tells me that my photos were successfully sent, but they never show up on the frame.

5. It would be nice, though, if we could see on the app which photos are currently in the frame.

6. I've tried logging out, making sure the frame is running the latest version, etc., with no luck.

7. There was no way to retrieve a frame ID number or anything so we'll have a fancy overpriced tablet just to use for SD card slideshows.

8. Wifi connection strong and the weather shows accurately, however, I can't send photos to it without directly plugging in the photo device.

9. At the moment, I don't know which pictures the frame sees.

10. Company needs to seriously fix their product.Like others have said, pictures do not upload.

1. Fix Aluratek Smart Frame Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Aluratek Smart Frame: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Aluratek Smart Frame App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Aluratek Smart Frame" » Open Aluratek Smart Frame » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Aluratek Smart Frame » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Aluratek Smart Frame app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Aluratek Smart Frame servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Aluratek Smart Frame" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Aluratek Smart Frame app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Aluratek Smart Frame might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Aluratek Smart Frame. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Aluratek Smart Frame then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Aluratek Smart Frame not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Aluratek Smart Frame be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Aluratek Smart Frame not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Aluratek Smart Frame may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
