Why should I report an Issue with Hulu: Stream TV shows & movies?

1. It makes a good app an absolute pain in the butt to use, since instead of sitting down to relax, and watch a show, you spend 15 minutes "fixing" an issue you didn't even create.Every UI update makes the app much worse.

2. I would also love to see more for young children.While the selection has improved, the app itself sucks! I'm tired of being signed out all the time & not being able to sign back in until i change my password, which id already entered correctly, to the same thing it already was.

3. sometimes its random, but if I get any type of notification or have to go to the home screen on my phone, it will say "having an error playing this title" or my phone will say the app isn't responding and ask if I want to close it or wait.

4. I really wish it wasn't so buggy, but as far as app functionality it can't compare to the Netflix app or even YouTubeThe app is decent and the show selection has definitely gotten better.

5. At times it freezes or doesn't load and I thought it was my internet connection but my other streaming apps work fine.

6. There's a good variety of shows available but there's a big volume difference between the ads and the shows and I've even had episodes lose volume completely or the mouths no longer line up with the words.

8. Design of the app forces you to go past 5 rows of ads and recommendations that are totally irrelevant to continue watching what you actually want to watch.This app is horrible.

9. At times the captions shown can be 3 or more sentences ahead of the spoken words!!!!! PLEASE fix this! Restarting the app/episodes only works occasionally, and the problem resumes quickly.

1. Fix Hulu Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Hulu: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Hulu App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Hulu" » Open Hulu: Stream TV shows & movies » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Hulu » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Hulu: Stream TV shows & movies app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Hulu servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Hulu: Stream TV shows & movies" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Hulu app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Hulu might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Hulu. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Hulu then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Hulu not working

2. Fix Hulu Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Hulu be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Hulu not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Hulu may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
