HP Sprocket Customer Insights

1. Sometimes it works perfectly and other times it takes 15+ minutes to print one picture even though my device Bluetooth menu says it's connected.Took a beautiful sunrise photo over an icy lake.

2. I like the device itself and was excited to get started, but I haven't been able to print one single photo and I'm giving up.The app closes every time I try to log in or make a new account.

3. I'd give it 0 stars if I could, very disappointedNot sure why they need location access to print pictures, I can print to regular printers over wifi and Bluetooth and send files between devices and they don't require location access and can pair just fine.

4. And yes I have the most recent update, and no it still doesn't work. The app is slow when you want to edit a photo.

5. I can never ever get my photos printed because it takes so long to connect, And every time I go on the app theres a firmware update which I've checked and I've gone on app several times and looked for updates and there is no updates.

6. Super slow...can't edit photos within the collage like I would like to, can't find photos easily and quickly, sometimes doesn't even print.

7. It's super frustrating that it won't work now, I've even deleted and re-download the app but nothing seems to work Been months, app still won't work, now it won't let me log in at all and I just spent 30$ buying new paper and cartridges.

8. There have been some updates over the past 5 years that have helped make it better, but some obvious things that have been overlooked. This app is cool and all, and I love my printer.

9. But the thing that's really annoying is when I edit the photo in any way, it refuses to print.

10. I've always had problems with this app, and the bug still hasn't been fixed.I've only had the Sprocket for a day so will have to update this review later.

11. The inability to re-frame a photo makes this app, and therefore printer, unusable for me at this point.

  • My 12 year old daughter has just bought an HP Sprocket Pocket Photo Printer 2nd Edition (Luna) with her pocket money. We have charged it, loaded paper, downloaded app and connected app to the Sprocket.

The problem she is having is the App won’t connect to Google photos. The App asks her to sign into google photos, she selects her gmail address, it then ‘spins’ for a a few seconds and then returns to the screen asking her to sign in.

We have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling but this didnt help.

Please advise how we can get this working for her as Google Photos is her primary storage for photos (not her phone gallery)

I have already tried emailing info@redacted directly but with no response
