GreenEmployee Customer Insights

1. It works but definitely low grade coding and doesn't feel very user friendlyCan't find anything on the app, will not upload picture for my profile keep saying that failed.Don't really like the site, it's always a pain to get into and then you got to dig around to figure out whatever it is they want you to do on this, instead of them providing you a direct link to whatever it is they want you to sign this week.Everything is always so accurate, clear and understandingI love the convenience of the app but I wish it was equipped to do everything that the website can do.

2. Doesn't load my paystubs half the time I want to look at them and I've uploaded my profile pic 2x and still nothing.

3. App doesn't remember my login information so you have to put it in every time, even though its phoneVery Glitchy.

4. I used to log in using biometrics all the time and randomly it said "nope" and never let me do it again.

5. Each time you reset it you have to use a different password.

6. every time I go to log in it says email password invalid.

7. Makes me miss paper check stubs.The app won't ever let me log in using my fingerprints even though I have biometrics enabled and there's no settings to mess with it.

8. Why ? Most of the time you can't even get into the app.and when you do it is a very unimformative page,the pay rate is not there, and and is very unhelpfulReally outdated and glitchy.

9. Can't access your pay statements,at any time you want.

10. Thumb print identifier works half the time.

11. Other than that, I have not encountered any bugs or random crashes.Having the same problem as a lot of other people here aare having since at least 9/1/20 .

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix GreenEmployee Issues

1. Fix GreenEmployee Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart GreenEmployee: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the GreenEmployee App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GreenEmployee" » Open GreenEmployee » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GreenEmployee » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear GreenEmployee app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GreenEmployee servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GreenEmployee" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check GreenEmployee app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GreenEmployee might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GreenEmployee. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GreenEmployee then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GreenEmployee not working


2. Fix GreenEmployee Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GreenEmployee be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GreenEmployee not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GreenEmployee may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
