ELDFleet Customer Insights

1. First time I would launch after every install I would get a message stating "Fragment Manager has been destroyed" and it would crash after which I could go through the login process for it to just continue crashing.

2. They go into driving in the middle of a break, stay on drive status for hours and then these people who answer the phone refuse to change it.

3. it will also cancel out personal conveyance or yard moves if it loses connection or power.Getting better but still has a long way to go seemed to be unprepared when when the eld mandate came into effect, could be a little more user friendly but over all not to bad.Im very dissapointed.

4. Horrible security, horrible integration to their fleet manager, and goes down routinely for long periods of time.

5. Retune your system before it cost people their jobs.PC should not change unless driver changes it.

6. I've done the following several times today: restarted my phone, turned Bluetooth on/off, uninstall and reinstall... It won't let me inI have to restart this app/device at least every other week.

7. You can only get help on weekdays during business hours and even then it takes them 2+ hours to change a status that is incorrect.

8. If you leave your system on when shop moves your truck it's still connected to your device you have to shut down your device so it's not connected.

9. I run two different devices android or apple they both work great but sometimes need updates due to system updates.

10. The app suddenly stopped working and would crash every time I tried logging in.

11. Surprising that an app that has been out for several years would still have this major of an issue.I've been using this app for 2years its has ups and downs.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ELDFleet Issues

1. Fix ELDFleet Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ELDFleet: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ELDFleet App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ELDFleet" » Open ELDFleet™ » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ELDFleet » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ELDFleet™ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ELDFleet servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ELDFleet™" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ELDFleet app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ELDFleet might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ELDFleet. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ELDFleet then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ELDFleet not working


2. Fix ELDFleet Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ELDFleet be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ELDFleet not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ELDFleet may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
