GoGet Customer Insights

1. When I went to pick up a car it wasn't where it was supposed to me, they CHARGED ME the 15 minutes I had to walk to the car's location after saying they would credit my booking for the time.

2. Also none of your help articles speak to the UI meaning it is impossible to fix anything without having to call or email you.Good range of vehicles that are easy to access.

3. Clunky two-finger map scrolling on embedded web page while the actual web page wobbles around under it and popups keep obscuring the page.Go Get's customer service is terrible & they will rip you off whenever they can.

4. Today the app didn't allow me to extend my booking then they fined me $25 dollars because I went over time Useless.

5. The staff that help are very lovely and helpful But the GoGet app is REALLY bad! It's so buggy 90% it doesn't work.

6. Phone numbers don't work if you need help - just get a disconnected messageReally useful.

7. After getting it all saved, they decided my photos were not clear enough, despite being so clear that every line and blemish on my face was visible.

8. It gives me the welcome every time, ironically with the "don't show again" still checked from last time.

9. Pricing is fair and the vehicles are regularly cleaned.Didn't even get past sign up stage.

10. When I select 'Not Now' when opening app having a box about location permission pop-up is not required everytime.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix GoGet Issues

1. Fix GoGet Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart GoGet: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the GoGet App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GoGet" » Open GoGet: Cars by the hour or day » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GoGet » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear GoGet: Cars by the hour or day app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GoGet servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GoGet: Cars by the hour or day" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check GoGet app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GoGet might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GoGet. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GoGet then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GoGet not working


2. Fix GoGet Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GoGet be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GoGet not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GoGet may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
