2. Just mention your first name when you make a purchase, and you'll be on your way to earning perks — no punch cards to remember to bring, scanning of codes, or fussing with gadgets at the counter.

3. Visit a participating spot, introduce yourself, and collect points to earn perks.

4. We've recently added mobile ordering capabilities, so you can skip the line and pick up your order.

Clover Customer Insights

1. Suggestion: allow me to save a list of "favorite" stores that always appear on the main screen, so I can quickly access them to see my points balance and enter codes.Update: 3 local restaurants that I used this app with have cancelled their service through clover.

2. The other downside... very very few places use clover.. and the search shows things nowhere near me - like on the other shore of the US.I'd used the Clover app at four different restaurants on five occasions.

3. So it definitely needs some work on the check in process but other than that NO COMPLAINTS! ITS WONDERFUL! Worth it!The user interface is clunky when location services are disabled (which I prefer to keep off for privacy).

4. I do like the idea of checking in to the vendor location to accumulate, but sometimes it's easier to handle applying points after the matter.An alternative to the delivery apps where the restaurant doesn't get robbed.

5. Who doesnt like earning rewards?? Most times I have no issues, however there have been a couple times when I tried to use it that the clerk could not see where I was attempting to check in so I lost my discounts because when I refreshed the app it showed I had already used the credits.

6. The app doesn't work in a number of restaurants specializing in Asian or South of the Border cuisine.

7. And a lot of restaurants that use this service don't know how to best provide a good experience.Cant recover password when switching phones.

8. The clover team has no customer service to speak of, and constant issues lost them money.

9. Unfortunately the reward program didnt work for me since I couldnt redeem the free drink on my bday which was very disappointing.

10. One problem with the app is that it doesn't remember your special instructions... gets to be a pain remembering to reenter things like no X due to allergy.

11. I think a second improvement would be generating scannable QR codes and allowing the application the option to open directly to the scanner once the profile is built.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Clover Issues

1. Fix Clover Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Clover: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Clover App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Clover" » Open Clover: Perks and Order Ahead » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Clover » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Clover: Perks and Order Ahead app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Clover servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Clover: Perks and Order Ahead" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Clover app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Clover might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Clover. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Clover then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Clover not working


2. Fix Clover Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Clover be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Clover not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Clover may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
