1. Use the full or demo desktop version of Fade In Professional Screenwriting Software to easily import screenplays from any number of formats, including PDF and Final Draft into this full version of Fade In Mobile.
2. NOTE TO GOOGLE DRIVE USERS: Google has reduced access permissions for some apps like Fade In Mobile.
3. Fade In Mobile is a companion app for Fade In Professional Screenwriting Software for working with Fade In (. fadein) files.
4. It takes care of proper script formatting, including standard script styles, and provides tools for quickly selecting character and location names, as well as for efficiently navigating your script.
5. Import/export using Google Drive/Dropbox/OneDrive to access your work on the go and sync your writing seamlessly with your computer.
6. You may receive a warning about being unable to access Google Drive.
7. It is specifically designed to work with the unique interface and capabilities of your mobile device.
8. We are working on a new version of the mobile app that will address this.
1. Still, works well enough for 4 stars even with the Dropbox thing.Waste of money! Doesn't work at all! When I import a Fade In file and go to edit, it keeps highlighting the entire sript and showing me a message that says "transition." It then scrolls on its own from bottom to top regardless of where I'm at on the document.
2. I can get it to work beautifully on the free (basic) version, but it stays in read-only, since it isn't the upgraded version. This app is packed full of features that many of the other screen writing apps dont have.
3. I'm using the pro version so it's nice to store to on the cloud.I'm a long time user of the FI desktop but haven't used the mobile much.
4. You can sync your work with the Windows program that also has a free version to try which still has most features.
5. I literally can't click on anything! It does this no matter what! I tried creating a new script from scratch, and it randomly turns everything into scene headings on its own and adds a bunch of line spaces that ruin formatting!Works great so far.
6. I keep my scripts on cloud, and it took much trial and error to learn I can only open a script in the mobile app by first downloading it from the cloud to my phone, then uploading back to cloud when I'm done working.
7. It entirely kicks the pants off of any other free or inexpesive software, and the highly flexible import and export options makes it viable to use in lieu of needlessly expensive nonsense (you know who).
8. Ok, that's fine, but it would be really nice if the app could be tweaked to work directly with cloud storage, opening and saving to and from that location the way many other apps do.
9. I'll be using the new mobile version a lot more now!I love the desktop version of Fadein, and wanted the mobile version as a companion.
10. I need access to google drive, that was the whole point, so I'm rating this as a 1 star and will rate it a 5 star if you can tell me how to fix it.While I ADORE the desktop program.
11. Tried OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, my device, and it kept importing but the file was blank.
