VN Customer Insights
1. Every time I tried to export or share what I spent literal days working on, it didn't have the capacity to finish, but instead ALSO made the video file larger.
2. Maybe yall will get it fixed and I can come back, but I can't edit videos anymore with this app.The best free Android video editing app, but that isn't saying much.
3. I don't like when I add a sound effect or song it moves me back to the start of the video.I love this editing app.
4. Splitting clips in the app causes playback issues 🎞️ Best video editing app I've used so far.
5. Lastly, sometimes when I try to export a video in high resolution, it says "Please turn down the resolution and exit the program." I do as it says and then it works luckily, but I wish I didn't have to do that.
6. The standout feature is no watermark on a free video editor, but you have to still deal with intrusive ads and an incredibly "corporate" feel with an unintuitive UI.
7. And of course, they want to upsell an overpriced subscription just like every other mobile video editing app.
8. Like when you cut a clip or do some change to one of the clips, if you scroll to the back and play back the clip, the sound doesn't come off right.
9. Every other app I tried was way to complicated for mobile video editing.
10. Two features I'd like: would be nice if when applying FX, they aren't bound to the clip itself but rather should be on their own track, applying the effect to the scene as a whole, that way you could span the effect across clip splits.
11. This would have been my favorite editing app but after a couple of tries, i am using another app because vn is full of bugs in some crucial parts which are not possible to overlook.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix VN Issues
1. Fix VN Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart VN: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the VN App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "VN" » Open VN - Video Editor & Maker » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for VN » click "UPDATE".
- Clear VN - Video Editor & Maker app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from VN servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "VN - Video Editor & Maker" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check VN app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, VN might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall VN. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall VN then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing VN not working
2. Fix VN Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make VN be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to VN not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, VN may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I am unable to see or type body text. I edited the video adding body text, it was appearing but now I am not able to see the body text or type.. Words and letters are not showing while typing. Kindly help me with the issue.

I subscribe and take a paid subscription of VN pro on 28 September. And according to your rules before 5 October if I cancelled my subscription the amount will not be debited. I had been cancelled my subscription 3 October but amount deducted at 5 October why. Please refund my amount.

Hi,
I made a long video that I love and am proud of and now I'm having trouble exporting it from VN. Every time I try I get an error message. I tried saving it to an empty external hard drive in case space was the issue, but that gave me the error message as well. Any suggestions? I really want to get the video exported.

I edited a video on the VN app, and exported it. But, when I played it on my phone I noticed some of the parts I corrected on the app where showing after export whereas when I play it on the app, it played well.

HELP!!! I recently completed a project in the app for a tutorial that it took me days to shoot. I saved it but could not export it due to storage space.
