ExifTool Customer Insights

1. Also, in my opinion the calendar should not begin with default values so back in time, but it should begin with today's date.Very good tool to copy one EXIF data to one or multiple files, I don't think there is a linking service of one file with other (multiple tp multiple), creating a custom batch.

2. In addition when we Copy a Metadata to other file, finding a file is a bit difficult, you can't select a file through gallery album, either a folder showing all pics or e plore path via files app.My pictures dates had been changed so I download this app.

3. But for this purpose for that kind of file this program did not work at all.Looks intuitive and does the essentials but cannot remove the tagging metadata that CapCut adds, which is all I wanted it for.Impressive. So far I've only used it for setting metadata details in .mp4 files and it's certainly user-friendly and does the job.

4. Can you please help? Your vid tutorials don't help because I can't understand what you're saying.Tested the application on a file with GPS information but when I look at the file it claims there's no GPS data ... went back and confirmed the file has an address associated with it when I look in the gallery.

5. Thanks. So easy to use, and thats a big plus with me ! I HAVE FOUND ALL the dates that i first took my photo's , there is a whole load of info alongside this ,and what i realy like is the stability of the files.what i mean is ,they stay on screen so you can read them slowly , unlike some apps where the slightest jitter with a finger means you go back to the beginning, or something.

6. PS - some reviews here seem to be written by people who don't fully comprehend/understand what they're using:- any metadata you're wishing to access and edit is listed below the file name/description as soon as you select a file.

7. The first one is that the app cannot edit exif data from files stored in the SD card, because it does not have the required permission, and does not ask for it.

8. good for my purposes, file manager support isnt necessary for my use.

9. The file type was heic so perhaps that's the problem perhaps the app doesn't properly support that format.

10. It's very straightforward and the editable parts have the 'pencil' edit symbol next to them (to enter a 'blank' just push space-bar once). This app has great potential.

11. Just great app.At this point all I want to do is adjust the date - seems impossible.
