Visa Airport Companion Customer Insights

1. All of this for 6 lounge passes per yearIt kept asking me to input a code that it sent to my phone, but the app never sent the code within the one minute time limit, so I have all these codes I can't use because the time limit expired each time before I got the code.

2. What a ridiculous app... yuck.What a horrible App! After the latest update, any attempt to login was met with "server not available" error message .... then when the login screen finally came through, wait another while for the SMS code, which never came.

3. Select "send code to email", and met with "server not available" message again ... which never came, BTW.

4. Forces to do password login every so often which slows down access when you need it quickly and then it does not login when you input the password or forces you to change it after 3 attempts.

5. Then when I chose to send the code to the email, it told me I had generated too many codes and I have to wait 30 minutes to do another one.

6. Also, customer service ignores e-mails and isn't reliable - I attended a lounge and the dragon pass server wasn't working.

7. Was denied access to the "Mobay" Sangster Intl airport lounge because we did not make a reservation ahead of time and they are "full for DragonPass users for the day".

8. It took me multiple attempts to reset my password because I never got the reset email despite my address being correct.

9. The 2 step verification does not send a text or to email, which means effectively I am lockout my account.

10. A minute to find a lounge, a minute to display a pass, etc.

11. There is no obvious info in this App even suggesting that this is a thing to do.My credit card used priority pass previously which was great, and now replaced it with this app and dragon pass.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Visa Airport Companion Issues

1. Fix Visa Airport Companion Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Visa Airport Companion: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Visa Airport Companion App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Visa Airport Companion" » Open Visa Airport Companion » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Visa Airport Companion » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Visa Airport Companion app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Visa Airport Companion servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Visa Airport Companion" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Visa Airport Companion app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Visa Airport Companion might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Visa Airport Companion. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Visa Airport Companion then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Visa Airport Companion not working


2. Fix Visa Airport Companion Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Visa Airport Companion be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Visa Airport Companion not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Visa Airport Companion may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • hi there i have cibc aventura infine visa and i am able to register on your website... i ctc cibc my card is eligible to register but your website keep saying its not. i m travelling on 6th from toronto airport. My welcome pkg also says my CIBC Aventura infinite is eligible for airport lounge acc. Still im unable to register

  • I have registered my credit card on the Visa Airport Companion app. When I selected add card I added my wife’s visa Avion credit card number but it created a visa airport companion card number with my name on it. Because of this my wife cannot sign up registered her card on her airport companion app because it down not accept her credit card number, how do I delete her credit card number from my airport companion app

  • I have tried signing up more than 7-8 times and it keeps giving me the message that my credit card may have expired or the information is not correct whereas everything is correct and the credit card is valid.   • Hello, I have received a free ride once I was reimbursed for a taxi delay by Get-e. They emailed me that: You can go ahead and create a new booking to see the benefit again. Please contact Visa Companion support center if you cannot find it, and they will help you.
    I couldn’t find so I called the email they gave me and the lady told me to contact you. I can’t find the benefit on my Visa companion app. What should I do? I need a taxi ride for tomorrow.
