Cineverse Customer Insights

1. Heavens they must hate regular TV with commercial breaks every 10-15 mins.The live TV channels constantly show a live icon and pause icon on the screen while watching.

2. There is ONE single issue that ultimately prevents me from letting this app play a movie on my Firestick while I fall asleep.. It is that COMMERCIALS during break are several decibels louder than the selected content.

3. The app freezes and closes when I spend more than 5 minutes browsing.Garbage too much movies I've never heard of and runs slow just sits there spinningThere is so many ads every 2 minutes there are 4 ads and like 30 seconds each.

4. Pressing the reverse button instantly takes you back to the beginning of the movie.Whoever said this has more movies than Netflix is crazy.

5. Otherwise, great content.App needs to allow users to block certain topics so that it doesnt pop up on their screen.

6. That's not good for the people paying for their ads to be there because it annoys people to the point of deciding to never ever try that show or product.Love the app.

7. Lags.I love all the movie classics and live tv.

8. I hate this and I don't recommend this at allOn Fire TV....there is no way to back up a few seconds (like if you didn't hear something).

9. Great appWould've given a higher rating but they keep showing the same really annoying ad sometimes 3 times in a row on one ad break.

10. Folks who hate the app over the ads are cutting off their nose to spite their face.

11. And also when you watch the ads the movie doesn't reload.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Cineverse Issues

1. Fix Cineverse Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Cineverse: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Cineverse App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Cineverse" » Open Cineverse - Stream Movies & TV » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Cineverse » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Cineverse - Stream Movies & TV app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Cineverse servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Cineverse - Stream Movies & TV" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Cineverse app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Cineverse might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Cineverse. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Cineverse then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Cineverse not working


2. Fix Cineverse Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Cineverse be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Cineverse not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Cineverse may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
