1. Sometimes I choose '+' on the right and then the default selected date for the "Story" is first day without a record (for me it is 19th December), if I do not notice that on time and write all I wanted for today, later I can't correct the date and have to delete whole record and start over.Beautiful and stimulating, but certain glitches (?) make it pretty annoying.

2. The only improvement I would love to be included is the ability to change the emotions you are able to use :) Overall, just an amazing app and has really helped meI love this app! Just seeing all my thoughts, feelings and emotions down on a screen made me feel a whole lot better!So far I haven't seen any bugs, glitches or even ads which is amazing.

But apon re-downloading it a few days ago, I found out that you now have to buy premium to be able to see your "insights" and mood tracker page which has definitely made the app a lot less useful than before, especially since I'm using is as a part of my CBT treatment and having a record of the changes in my mood and mental well-being would be helpful.

4. Professional, guided meditation, insights...a motivator app anyone with a phone today would find essential.I absolutely love this app- I don't have much time to be able to write a physical journal, so I find it very useful to be able to have access to something like this.

5. Even without the extras (subscriptions, payments e.t.c) this app is amazing to use! I totally reccommend it if your struggling with stress, anxiety or you just need a way to relax! I hope you have fun using this app!It's a first diary app that I truly use and enjoy it, the experience is fulfilling, all additional content is motivating also.

Also, the only portions of an entry that you can edit are the text and time, not the activity or emotion, and every time I edit, it changes the entry to the current day.I've had this app for a short while but I'll tell you that's it's perfect for anyone who's looking for a daily journaling system.

7. My favorite part is that it helps you get out the stress of the day by writing it out instead of bottling up emotions.This app looks nice, and I was excited about the format and guidance it offered.

8. This isn't some simple note-taking app, it's one of the most beautifully designed apps I've ever used and makes journaling a pleasureful experience, you don't really want to leave the app! Yet the more you're in it and use it, it's working hard in return to help rise your self-awareness.

9. The reminders are a nice feature, because in the moment of relaxing, and winding down, I see the reminder, and it helps me to be grateful for wats in my life, rather than wats missing.I like the design and concept.

10. The 'tutorials' you find in each stage of creating an entry really help me to write about my day easier, as I wouldnt usually have any idea on how to start.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Mind journal Issues

1. Fix Mind journal Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Mind journal: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Mind journal App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Mind journal" » Open Mind journal: Diary, Mood trac » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Mind journal » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Mind journal: Diary, Mood trac app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Mind journal servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Mind journal: Diary, Mood trac" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Mind journal app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Mind journal might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Mind journal. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Mind journal then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Mind journal not working


2. Fix Mind journal Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Mind journal be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Mind journal not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Mind journal may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
