1. Not sure why it didn't work at first but it did work and we found it!Other than continual pop-up requests to "Go Pro or Continue to use the app free", I was still able to locate my Fitbit in minutes.

2. I tried to locate my fitbit twice using the app but the signal was not clear, kept telling me I was close but then would change.

11. You need the money but annoying your prospective customers when they're frustrated is not a good practice.Don't listen to the people that say it doesn't work, you can switch between fitbits you own and ones you don't and it will give you actual readings if yours is near.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Finder Issues

1. Fix Finder Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Finder: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Finder App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Finder" » Open Finder for Fitbit » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Finder » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Finder for Fitbit app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Finder servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Finder for Fitbit" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".

  5. Uninstall and reinstall Finder. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Finder then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Finder not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Finder be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Finder not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
