Deliveroo Rider Customer Insights

1. I used to work in London But I recently moved to cardiff and that's when I had the issue of getting an order which would be 4 miles away from my location and it would take 25 minutes to get there and it would count as late.There is a problem with Waze, when you try to choose which app should you use to do the delivery it doesn't add the address and you need to add it manually which takes time and effort, please fix that.Google maps ok.

2. First of all, why is that an option? Without confirmation from the first email address, I am literally struggling to get in contact with anyone to help me with this, I am sending emails calling everywhere, they are not available or not posible, worst customer/rider support I've seen in my life...Good but bad.

3. Pay is poor the majority of the time, the minimum needs be at least £5.00 plus waiting time, or if a restaurant is closed, the restaurant should be charged so we the rider can get the minimum payment.

4. Pick up an order, press the button to use a 3rd party gps app like Waze or Google Maps, says you have arrived, but actually it's further down.

5. Runs fine on my Android device overall though.How bad can this app be???? I have been working with it for so long, and now, suddenly, someone has changed my email address on the account.

  4. Check Deliveroo Rider app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Deliveroo Rider might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Deliveroo Rider. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Deliveroo Rider then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Deliveroo Rider not working


2. Fix Deliveroo Rider Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Deliveroo Rider be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Deliveroo Rider not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Deliveroo Rider may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
